Qualifications
Job description and Qualifications:
Welding earthmover parts and railway structures (carbon steel & stainless steel).
Performing the fusion welding joints of steel, nickel, titanium and their alloys according to the European standard EN ISO 5817:2014
Be able to perform it at level B.
Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Others or similar fields.
High level of practical knowledge of the 135-type welding process, i.e. MAG welding (Metal Active Gas), which is arc welding with a consumable, solid wire electrode using an active shielding gas (e.g. carbon dioxide, CO2-argon gas mixture).
Familiar with basic welding technology concepts (such as: WPS, WPQR, welding current/voltage, welding speed, wire feed, etc.)
Be able to make welds in "HV" and "HY" welding positions
Knowledge of making welds inspected by UT (Ultrasonic Testing) and MT (Magnetic Particle Testing) non-destructive testing (NDT) methods.
